Myrkarna Sachnoth Noctrum - Been too long.

Harr harr. 14 weeks since my last blog entry was created. I surely am a master of this.

Since last time, my life has changed a bit. Nothing much though, as usually. New piercings, new tattoos, new name. For a long time, I've wanted to add a second name to the one I already had and last week or the wee before that, I finally did. So now my name is Kristján Fenrir instead of just Kristján. I really like it and I'm glad I finally applied for it and even more glad that it was accepted. I knew it would be accepted though, since Fenrir is an accepted name.

For the first time for an year or so I have a job. I hadn't been working for so long because of depression and partly misanthropy. I just couldn't stand meeting a lot of people over the day, and I even had ways to 'block' myself from the crowd. Usually it was just my iPod, headphones and loud music, but that's enough for me. I just concentrate on the music instead of the people around me. I only took the headphones off while paying in stores (only because I think it's very rude not to), but besides that I always had them on when I was outside my safe-place (which was in my closed room). After knowing this, you might laugh ironically when I tell you I work in 10-11. I would too if I wouldn't be so glad to be able to keep a job. I started working in Glæsibær in late August, but I was transferred to Eggertsgata 1-2 months ago because they were changing the shifts in Glæsibær and the assistant manager needed someone with more experience and didn't have the time to teach me all the things I needed to know, and it was easier to transfer me to another store. I was okay with it, but the assistant manager postponed telling me for at least one day because she was very uncomfortable about telling me this because she didn't want to transfer me because she really likes me. It made me a bit happy. Anyway, I've been working at 10-11 at Eggertsgata for 1-2 months now and things are going great. My co-workers are nice. Every day, I'm breaking my old record of keeping a job. It was only 3 months straight, which isn't a long time, but I'm still happy about it and being happy about yourself and the things you do is the most important thing in life, I guess.

Holidays are coming soon and, like most others, I have my plans. I get a few days off so I'm gonna visit my mom in Akranes. My last shift before the vacation is on the 22nd and I guess I'll get a ride with a friend who's going to his family in Borgarfjörður after my shift on the 22nd. I'll stay there for a few days, spending my time with friends and family. Me, Samúel and Jóhann are also going to visit Jón Valur in the cemetary on Christmas day. Since he passed away, we've gone on the 24th, but Samúel is working until 3 or 5 on the 24th, so he'll be at Akranes just in time to take a shower before dinner. I have a shift on the 29th and another one on the 31st, and I plan to spend new years eve with Sibba at her home in Reykjavík. We're gonna cook dinner and maybe invite some friends over after dinner. Which reminds me, I have to buy Sibba a christmas present soon. Too bad I have no idea what to give her.

Next Saturday, there's Andkristnihátíð and of course I'm going! They even have a t-shirt this time and the guy who's managing this festival offered to make one that's big enough for me.
